Tis is the day where me and my hubby got together... It has been 3 fruitful years... Thru this 3 years, we went thru 1) sourcing of flats 2) Buying a flat 3) Sourcing of renovation and furnitures 4) ROM 5) Preparation of Customary Wedding 6) Wedding 7) Makin of babies 8) Parents to be... So of coz its has been fruitful...
History of us....
We knew each other on the internet.. at that time in Nov, i just broke off with my bf for about 2-3 months... We din came together once we meet one another.. No, not love at first sight... hehe... After few months of friendship, bu zhi bu jui and we got together.. Haha actualli had a vivid memory of how we start to hold hands... hehe...
After gettin together, we often went for movies, arcarde, outing... Frankly speakin, he was not the ideal man of mine... He was older than me by 9 years, a PR, not very handsome *oops* but he was nice... He dote on me and buy me big bears and my favourite animal dophins but those display type one lah... We will always meet up at either Woodlands or Sembawang cause he live at Yew Tee and sometimes he work till the morning and meet me after few hours of sleep.. so we chose places that is halfway for the both of us...
During the courtship, i went off the track once but luckily i was back again just in time... I knew that although there are things that does not make him my ideal guy but he is really someone who has the capability to hold my hands thru the rest of my life... Maybe he is too used to alone so a lot of things tend to be me who bring it up...
After a year together, i asked him about future... He tell me its too early to say anything... I am a person who need to be secure... So i tend to ask again this question after some time... I came to a point where i give up askin... Let him be the one to bring up 'future'...
On 14 Feb 2004, we went to East Coast Park for seafood... After dinner, we went for a stroll and went to take cab home.. On our way in the cab, i asked him 'what do u like in me??' Without any question or answer throw to me, he ask me 'Will u marry me??' i was like - what a place and what an atmosphere.... I took that as a joke... and ignore tat... Then after a few mins, i turned to him and ask him 'are u serious?' then he pop the question again... This time i just keep silence and give him a smile... :)
After tat nite, we keep a lookout for flats... and eventualli went to apply a flat at Sengkang West in July 2004. This is the second time we are applyin already cause the 1st time we din managed to get it. We got our flats and keys in Sept 2004. After seeing the house, we are very happy.. Although the rooms are small but the hall is very big... Things like havin a altar in the house is a issue that he tend to object cause he seldom go to temple and i personally like Guan Yin a lot... but in the end, he give in to me and now he always pray and help me with the altar... hehe Happily we went to source for renovations, furniture and finally in Nov, all the stuff are done and my hubby went to stay there first cause he previously rent a room from people.. He, first time have a house on his own, we did a lot of compromising. We are to shared the housechores... Well agreement hit. hehe... We start to plan for our ROM and on 14 Dec 2004, we had our ROM. It was a simple one but great one... After ROM, we went back home for a small buffet to celebrate our ROM together a small house warming..
Straight after ROM, we start to plan for our wedding that was to be held in either 4th, 5th or the 8th month of lunar calendar. My mother in law picked a few dates. Some are in 4th month and the rest are in the 8th month and 9th month. I always have the idea of not waiting too long after ROM for the customary... So we picked the 4th month and in English calendar, its on the 14 May 2005. It was only few months of preparation and we try to fufil both side's wish and at the same time minising the cost. Thru the 7 months since we got our flats till our wedding, we spent about 10 over K in cash... During that time, we both have to save a lot just to standby for the wedding. Luckily, everything was smooth. Every couple tends to fight over little things during the planning and preparation but i am really lucky that my hubby has been very accomodating and tried his best to do whatever we have to do with... That i really got to say a big THANK YOU to him....
After wedding, i discovered that i was pregnant. We din planned it and just let it happen naturally... Everyone commented it was fast but well our baby is anxious to meet us. Till now, i am in the 6 and 1/2 months already. That means we are married for 6 and 1/2 months liao... :)
During the 1st trimester, although my morning sickess is always in the evenin, but i still felt terrible... but luckily that was over liao... And during these months, my hubby has always been supportive and attentive towards me and really take good care of me... Although i will have mood swings but he never complain but still dote on me.... Every gynae visit, we will go together and know how our baby is progressing.... Now we are both waitin for our baby to stepped into the earth in less than 3 months time.
